Hello guys,
I finally achieved a dream of mine, I finally got the opportunity to get a TT bike
Unfortunately, TTs are quite rare in France so it won't get raced too much
Its mainly a passion project
Its a 2017 Giant Trinity Pro with Sram Force 22 and Zipp 808 NSW clincher wheels
its really barebones for the moment and I'll make a different thread for you guys to follow the evolution

what the opinion on the old cannondale slice?
i can get it at a really good price (8000 danish kr) with quarq power meter and red etap 1x11
would just need a new set of wheels for racing: or would you rather go for at giant trinity
with zipp 404 and 9 disc wheel but ultegra mechanical
would need to get a quarq 1x crank+ powermeter here
(this is 14000 danish kr)
better wheels but seems like i will get a better complete deal with the cannondale if i find a set of wheels for that.

As good as the slice rs was, i think it suffered from shaking its small parts off down the road, and often these are unobtainable, and always have been, so expect some bodges.mathias720 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2023 6:49 amwhat the opinion on the old cannondale slice?

The trinity is a great and popular TT bike over here (UK), I think you'd be pretty much fine with one except the early ones which were a nightmare to work on the front end. Brakes a pain to set up afaik even on newer versions.
The 1 i've borrowed felt a porker compared to my speedconcept, and i wouldnt say that was light!
