I just got a set, haven't weighed them but from all the reviews I've read, they come in right at 1265 including tape etc.

I am trying to decide between CL II and CLX II.
Apart from slightly higher weight do you see any differences in handling, etc.?
CLX II wheelset is about 40% more expensive - is it worth it? It will be my second wheelset mostly for windy weather and races in moun - I also have the Rapide CLX II wheelset.

So I decided there's no point in investing in Alpinists CLX II as I don't live in highland and my Rapides CLX II deal great with my closest ascents (up to 20 minutes 6-7% avg). They're good even with short steep climbs (600 meters ca. 15-20%).
So I took the Alpinists CL II with a 15% discount. Tomorrow I will take them to the Dolomites, where I am mostly worried about wind gusts (my weight ca. 63-65 kg) no the total weight of the wheelset. I will also use the wheels in worse conditions like early spring rides (a lot of sand, water and/or salt).
The real weight of my wheelset is 1362 grams.
