That is actually my mount for the junction box. I am no longer doing any new front mounts, I really think that something like this needs to be aluminum and not nylon, I am just not 100% sure what the long term effects are of having a mount like this under compression. Plus, the Junction box is only a few grams and lights are many, many grams more.
Interesting. As for weight, I was only thinking of mounting a Bontrager Ion light like that, so nothing heavy at all.

Use this headset spacer and this mount. Voila!

If it is the longer Ion like the Pro, 700, 800, etc use this one to gain some space

100% agree, the Rec mounts are good and as I am basically out of the 'out front mount' business, this is a very respectable alternative.

I use the Rec-mount for my light mount. It is very stable and works well.

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of doing it this way.

Production candidate of the AXS Wireless blip holders for MTB. Still need to source black bolts/nuts. Also a GoPro mount for Giro Synthe helmets and a GoPro to Bontrager Ion adapter to helmet mount the Ion Pro. Mount is held on by a zip tie underneath.

@kppolich Very cool setup! If you are US based try McMaster-Carr they have nuts and bolts that can be purchased by the box load.

My "Garmin quarter turn male" is rec-mounts as well, good stuff (even if not exactly ww). On the other bike I use a noname plastic quarterturn mated to the underside of that old Rotor out-front. That's nice for the tiny light in a bar/stem Garmin mount, but I don't think that I'd dare to load it with my Phillips monster (via UT800 adapter), I leave that responsibility to the rec-mounts. (but it's an easy decision, because that Phillips monster has a bigger brother that attaches directly to that bike's bar, with an absurdly heavy Minoura clamp)

Might have a lead on a cut off from a Pinarello Dogma F (not the number series). I am also taking a new look at the Varia 715 to see if a two bolt clamp design might work. I cannot make the single bolt designs look good and they all appear to be fragile when printed, I'm sure they aren't but I just don't like how they look.

I went with Pro-Bolt for titanium M3 bolts and nuts.

Really, REALLY happy with the shifting from these eTap wireless blips. Cleans up the cockpit a ton and has the right feel compared to the single thumb control.

3D print was 99% good, just a bit snug when sliding it on to the bar. Had to file away just a touch, and likely don't need the M3 nut and bolt. However, they are titanium!

To be honest, it doesn't look clean at all :(
Zirbel can be marked as clean or slick.

@req1110 please don't be overly critical and take note that @kppolich blip mounts were printed on an FDM 3D printer.

For anyone that doesn't know what FDM is, that type of printer prints by extruding layers of melted plastic to form the entire model one layer at a time. As such, it leaves visible layer lines which is what you see in the image. You could reduce those lines by sanding primering and painting, but that is a lot of work for a single use item.

Other printers might have done a better job, but aren't near as easy to use or as economical as the good old FDM 3D printers. My stuff from Shapeways uses SLA where a laser sinters powered nylon one layer at a time and because the layers are smaller they tend to be less visible. In addition Shapeways puts many of their parts through a vibratory tumbler to smooth any edges. One of the least expensive production SLA 3D printer for nylon is the Fuse1 from FormLabs. With a complete setup that would set a person back around $19,000 USD and the new faster Fuse1 + 30W starts at $28,000 USD. Shapeways HP 3D printers start at $150,000 USD.

The third option is using a UV activated resin printer and that works by exposing layer after layer of liquid resin hardened by a UV light pattern for each layer. I use a resin printer to prototype as it is fast and more accurate than an FDM printer and can print in finer detail. These can be as cheap as several hundred US dollars but are messy because the resins are liquid.

@kppolich, don't pay any mind, it appears to be a very worthwile effort.

I respect the 3d print effort.

I don't like the design of these wireless shifters from sram. They don't fit any location on bike from cosmetic point of view.

Finally! http://shpws.me/TcWA
This is the Garmin Varia seat post mount for the Pinarello Dogma F (without the number). It took a while but it is finally available.

And, here is my first RCT715 Seat Post Mount Adapter, http://shpws.me/TcYx
It is specifically for the Pinarello Dogma F and provides a secure mount that is not the bulky rubber spacers and O-rings that Garmin provides in the box.
