And another to add to the pack:
- 56 Jet Fuel s-works
- Ultegra R8170 groupset
- Dura Ace 11/30 cassette
- Red dub crank, extralite chainrings
- Feder 35mm + rd230 hubs
- 32mm Reneherse tyres (Aerothan tubes)
- Roval Rapide bars
- Kalloy Uno stem
- cccache mount
- speedplay zero (ti spindles and bow ties)
- Darimo T1 seatpost
- Galfer discs / pads
Weight 5997g - will drop another 50 or so with Ridewell tubes and fork cut. I have also got the Alpinist cockpit which is another 100g saving but find the Rapide more comfortable.
The groupset looks great with the frame - personally I think a traditional spider/rings works well on the Aethos (takes a lot of weight visually from the BB area).
Assuming the spider works out ok (AliExpress!), crank will have a 4iiii power meter added for 10g, which makes the tota crankset pretty much 510g with power.

Sorry for the late answer! I did a dream build video of the bike where you can check the color under very different light situations:Kaludrob wrote: ↑Tue Feb 22, 2022 11:29 amHi matheussiq8,
could you perhaps post more pictures of the frame in daylight? Is the gloss clay actually grey or a little pinkish? Thanks
matheussiq8 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:55 amFinally got all the components build my Aethos! Got the S-Works frame in size 58 from The Flow in Italy for 3500 thanks to this thread!
The weight though came a little higher than what I expected. Is that because of the Gloss Clay / Silver colorway?

My LB just use SRAM red front caliper adapter, not the aethos proprietary one. I dont Find any problem until now, is it dangerous?allrandomletters wrote:The bike comes with a proprietary adapter plate for the front fork. Spacing is for a 160mm disc. For the rear, the caliper mounts directly to the chainstay. Spacing is for a 140mm disc. I think you could use a standard Shimano/SRAM adapter plate for the rear if you want 160mm on both ends.

Light-Bicycle AR45 Flyweight rims (45mm deep, 28mm wide), Extralite Cyberhubs SPD-2, Pillar X-TRA Lite Ti; 1100g overall. You can feel strong wind gusts, but it's manageable. Can't compare to other rims.Vincentsmoox wrote: ↑Fri Apr 29, 2022 6:44 amWhat wheelset you guys use oN aethos?
