Hey! Thanks for your feedback in this post, helped me alot. One question from me, at what mark is your seatpost on ML frame? Can you maybe post a picture of markings at clamp level? My saddle height is same as yours, about 770mm, also ML frame but yours looks taller. There is localy bargain M size frame, thinking of downsizing but being put off by periscope looking seatpost and would also mean un-slaming front end and using 1.5-2 cm of spacers with stock -10deg stem. We have nearly identical fit. Mine is also slammed on ML, the reason I went with this size in the end after seeing yours in team version.bedampft wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 12:14 am
Not from the seatpost, thats just long enough. But you would be better off with the M/L anyways. If you're getting the M, you'll only ride the front wheel. Mine was 76,5cm top to bottom (being 180cm tall), that worked for a pure climber, but not for fast riding in the flats, and really not for sprinting. For me the M/L is a better fit. Saddle to bardrop isn't as aggressiv, but the overall ride is better.
Thanks!
So is giant OD2 steerer the same as canyons then?

Hi, I just got the TCR advanced disc 1. It seems to me the wheel sits slightly off centre in the fork, almost as if the wheel is not dished correctly.
Is this a feature of the fork design? I tried three different wheels, and all are slightly closer at the tyre on the disc side of the fork.
The wheel would probably need to be pulled over by 2mm to 'correct' it (hard to measure, but I think the gap one side is about 9mm and the other about 12mm.
I tried to photograph, but I can't find a way of doing it without the perspective messing it up

I answered my own question. Went to a local giant dealer and looked at 4 TCRs - all were evenly spaced. Looks like I've got a dodgy fork
Take a front wheel from one of the 'good' ones and put it into your fork. That way you'll know for sure whether it's the fork or just a wheel dish.leonlikestrees wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 9:38 amI answered my own question. Or just put your front wheel in backwards, you don't need the disc inserted to see where the problem is.

I tried different wheels, all pushed off to one side. What I wasn't sure was whether the fork was designed that way, g. Some deliberate asymmetry to cope with disc brake forces or something. But no, having looked at several others, the wheel sits evenly between the blades, so mine is just wonkym

2021. I've got another one now and the wheel sits centrally (or at least within the tolerance of the wheel), whereas the first was just offsetdamond wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 7:59 pmWhat MY is your TCR?leonlikestrees wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 10:19 pmHi, I just got the TCR advanced disc 1. I found this very cool CNC'ed seatpost topper for the TCR Advanced SL that saves 35g over the original. The body is made of 7075 while the clamp is made of titanium. You can read more about it on Tieba and buy it on Taobao.
