I've just found this thread! Does anyone make a Specialized SWAT Saddle mount for a Garmin Varia RTL515? That would be amazing if so.

@Wadl

That plug is from a 2019+ Venge.

It might fit on a Tarmac but that picture is not a Tarmac, unless you are telling me the owner put 'venge' stickers on his Tarmac.

If you ever wanted to mount your Varia sideways, I built this mount for someone. I have permission to report the images here.

@1sanglier,

My guess is that the cone of detection is exactly that, a 'cone'. But Garmin might have put a shaping lens on the detector, so only Garmin would know with 100% certainty.

Yes, I've been using that Varia for a long time and I didnt notice any difference between the vertical and the horizontal position ! :)
(P.S. by the way, those are my pics, I am the one using it like that :) )

Hi thank you for making all these amazing mounts.

I am wondering can you push this inward and shorten this for a couple of mm so that the rear light sticks with the saddle even more?

@aquilinx,

Which mount is that, I could make it a bit deeper and adjust the angle if you like. I can't do anything until I return home from visiting my parents on October 1.
