Hi All
I have an Elite Direto, which has been great for the 2yrs or so I have had it, but the freehub has got a little loud,
especially when freewheeling.
Having watched Youtube, GP Lama was re-greasing his direct drive freehubs and they were WAY quitier afterwards,
anyone know if it is a specific grease, or will any high performance grease from shimano, Park Tool etc be fine?
Apologies if this is not the right section, or has been asked before.
What grease for Direct Drive freehub

If using grease on a pawl/ratchet-ring style freehub, use the lightest grease you can find. "Slick Honey" is about as thick as you want to go. A heavy oil like Phil's Tenacious Oil will also do a good job of quieting down your freehub driver.
