Hello,
I purchased a Specialized Roval CLX II wheel-set from a Specialized dealer shop in Italy while traveling in June 2022. I live in Singapore and have been using the wheels with no issue until last week 13 May 2024 there was a small carbon break in the rear wheel. See pics. I have since emailed Specialized US and Asia with no response to this. Both wheels serial numbers are correctly registered with Specialized website. As Roval has a stated lifetime warranty this should be an easy dialogue and rectification, however the dealer is in Italy so I would want to have this supported by a Specialized Singapore store. Any feedack on how to resolve or escalate?
Many thanks
Michael

Give Specialized/Roval time to respond. We’re working on a 2 week long backlog in our warranty emails!mickatee wrote:Hello,

Have you tried simply going to your local Specialized store with the wheels and receipt. Your local store should be able to handle it. There's no caveat that the original purchase store has to handle the warranty work... that's the whole point of buying from a major company that has dealers all around the world.mickatee wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 11:13 amHello,

I have emailed Specialized Asia Hub and also US with no outcome to date both sent an intial email but since quiet. I also messaged the stores and they directed me to email them via Asia Hub. Yes I can approach the Singapore store directly however I would prefer an email confirmation before so I dont have to turn up and start arguing with staff on the spot! Its every easy to do to send a confirmation!!
I am also having the Italian dealer contact Specialized but this will take some time and not ideal as they are not the customer so its a favour.
Essentially this is pathetic service from Specialized.
