Update: Starbike has dispatched a replacement fork to me - fingers crossed it's packed properly.
In Starbikes defense, when I have received response they have been quick to recitify my problem, only it has taken a month to get resolution for something that shoud maybe take a week or two. They do mention they are moving locations also and I get the impression they have a lot going on however customer service should always be your priority. I will await my new tracking number and cross my fingers for my new fork. Thanks Starbike for putting this right - ill update once received.
