Kind of rich, pointing out what's a pointless post and what isn't, you.
How about eliminating the classifieds section altogether? Not that I would buy from anyone or sell to anyone on here in the first place.

Too bad you've not yet been a member for a month.
What do I need to be a member for a month for? I've been trying to build up posts so I can upload my bike.
Thanks for the welcome!

Has anyone come up with any ideas for this issue? Is there a way of adding something to the report spam button the would help alert the moderators to users who are clearly here to spam?
This seems to be increasingly common, with users increasing their post count with pointless comments, often in old threads. Take
min99945 for example. 10 posts within 8 minutes of joining, mostly the usual pointless stuff like this that has no reference to the thread itself, or just copying a post from elsewhere:

Why not? I've happily bought a number of items from here and all positive purchases.

If you're here for just for the dealz, you're on the wrong site. As a buyer or a seller, if I browse your forum posts and your history is less than a few years, I probably won't deal with you because I assume you're sketchy.

+1. I agree completely, and I would rather wait on a sale than deal with any possible problems from someone who just decided to show up the day before yesterday.

Is it worth adding a 5th radio button to the report post function?
It's getting silly now. Some mornings its 20 or 30 posts and half a dozen new "users"
"post count bumper, please investigate" or something similar.
