Hi! I installed a bigger cassette on my gravel, the chain was sized with the old cassette. Im running 1x at the front. I can still push it up a bit and slack the chain, too much and the top pulley rubs on the cassette.
Is it to short to be used like this?
Regards Victor

Keep in mind that during the shift the chain will ride over the teeth and pull the cage even tighter. Your b-gap looks barely adequate as well. If your b-gap was set correctly, the pulley would be even worse off.

It was not looking good for sure. Its seem to work fine tho, even with the chain on top of the coggs there was some more of the chain. Tension was really high also. I decided to not try it outside and changed to a chain with 4 more links now. I cant do much with the b-tension. 810 rear derailleur and 40 cassette, its almost at the bottom.
