Hey all,

Canyon currently have a nice world bike day sale at approx 14% off.

Im looking at the above two bikes.... the CFR model is $2500 more than the SLX for a 200gram saving. Frame and wheels attrribute to this.

Whats everones thoughts on the two bikes? One would think the SLX would be a better buy at $2500 chearper. 8.5kg approx vs 8.3kg.

Thoughts?

Cheers

If you are considering either 2XS or XS take a look at ridiculously wide bar they spec those with. Changing that is going to be expensive.

It's also pretty much impossible without significantly extending the reach since Canyon's CP0047 Pro Cockpit (the cockpit for the new Grail) is only available with a minimum stem length of 80 mm, while the bike itself ships with 60 mm. So you can either have 60 x 420 mm (shipped with the bike) or 80 x 400 mm (available separately). 60 x 400 mm is nowhere to be found.

As someone who is quite interested in the Grail and needs size 2XS I don't know what the hell Canyon was thinking with these cockpit widths.
