SRAM 10-44 1x chain length

I am trying to instal an uncut SRAM force flattop chain onto a 10-44 cassette / 42 chainring, however, the chain appears to be too short based on sram instructions. I am only left wit one outer link and I should have two inner and outer links. Their online compatibility guide shows this setup should work. What am I missing

How long is the chain? There is 114 and 120 link version.

114...dang I didn't know they sold a different length. Looks like I have to order a new chain.
