Any lighter cassette options for 12-speed 11-36?Maybe Garbaruk will work on one?
Rotor's cassette doesn't work great, does it?

I'm wondering,
We have an existing 1x12 speed 10-51 di2 SD300 wide range rear derailleur, the M-8150-12 Deore XT.
https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/product/ ... 50-12.html

Does anyone tried to hook this up to a SD300 (12 speed) system? for sure is not wireless, but it might work just as good wired on a 1x12 GRX/Ultegra/DA setup.

That derailleur is not a junction A, and it doesn't have a charge port either :)
(and according to Shimano's Di2 compatibility info, it's not compatible)

Acording to shimano info ST-RX825 are wireless only and I have them wired on my system :)

You are right about the charge port but as a hack will be interesting to know if it works, even if charging the battery will be challanging in this situation.

hah, that's interesting! That must be a mistake in the documentation! :)
(I'll ask Shimano)

I suspect someone copied the 105 docs/specs and forgot to update that...

I asked, and yeah.. it's a mistake in the docs - it's being corrected soon :). Well spotted!

Not an amazing chart reader…

So if I have a mostly Ultegra 12sp di2 and swap in the new grx crankset as well as the new grx FD, do I live?

Yes. You may have to shorten the chain. The Ultegra RD is only supposed to be able to accommodate a 16t front tooth difference but it should be fine. The RD capacity also won't technically allow 11-34 cassette with a GRX crank but likewise it should also be fine.

Cool, thanks! Yeah, I’ve seen a YouTube vid of a guy fitting a 105, 11-36 cassettte to Ultegra di2 successfully, I guess that’s not far off the same ratio either tbh.
