After a consensus on how similar the three diciplines are in peoples fits.

I've had bike fits done on my MTB and Road.

Basically by saddle height is 9mm higher on my road bike and my BB set back is 13mm more than my MTB. Road bike has 170mm cranks and Ultegra pedals, MTB is 175mm cranks and xtr pedals.

Basically the 9mm saddle difference can be comprised of the 5mm in crank length... the other 4mm would be due to a mixture of the set back, stack of pedals etc.

I now have a gravel bike... should I try and fit this somewhere in the middle of the two? The gravel bike has 170mm cranks but I'm using XTR pedals and same mtb shoes.

I feel like I get more power on the MTB with the less setback and lower saddle... I ride my mtb more so always feel weird when getting on the road bike initially... however soon get used to it after a while.

TIA

I set my saddle height the same on all three disciplines: XC, Gravel, and Road. I run 170mm cranks on all.

I'd just set it to be identical to the road bike, add 5mm to the seat height to compensate for SPDs vs SPD-SL.
