Hello,
In the forest I am on a Factor SL, 2x11 mechanical. The cable for the front shifter comes from below, through the frame, right in front of the rear wheel. So on wet rides, and subsequent wash, water will enter the frame.
When I hang it up, vertically in the front wheel, some water runs out where the cable to the rear derailleur comes out of the frame. But I want to avoid this, partly because some of it finds it way into the little piece of cable to the rear mech.

Can the cable hole for the front mech be sealed somehow?

Thanks

TBH, water is always going to get in.
Best off making sure it has an unobstructed route out rather than trying to seal holes...

Thanks for the input. I agree that helping the water out is the better option. But I dont feel like drilling holes in the frame.
Hoever, the frame has a hole underneath that is sealed by a plate with one screw. Maybe that could be used for a draining hole, but will have to look some more into it.
