Hoping some kind mechanics will test the compatibility with RX810/RX812 FD & RD and R8000 FD.

The local bike store had already shown the mech 12s 105 bike for a month, but not for sale & take pic & post pic online, they are waiting the official release at Sep.
I think it's not a news here. :/
I can do the test riding, but it's not the key point, I want to know the compatibility with grx, the mechanic in the store won't do this kind of test on a new bike. LOL
I don't want to be in trouble and make the shop struggling, it's scary. So I should keep away right now, just waiting the official announcement.

My opinion: No Di2 on launch and still 170 mm as the shortest cranks? Lame. Probably a good option for anyone that enjoys mechanical shifting. However if I was in the market for a new gravel bike or group set I'd be opting for SRAM XPLR.

- Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2
- Cervelo Caledonia Rival eTap AXS
- Vitus Venon Evo
- Canyon Grail CF SL 8 Di2
Crankset looks like the old one.
Pricing is higher than Ultegra Di2.
I get that mechanical is more complex to manufacture, but still.

Seems no servowave on the brakes. So no extra pad clearance?

Yes, it does have servowave, and yes, there is the extra pad clearance (that bit has nothing to do with servowave levers, it's just the calipers that are stolen from 105 and rebranded
I don't know where you got your prices but I think you are comparing MSRP to sale price. Disappointing "rework" until we get di2, but it can't be more expensive than di2 ultegra

Now I consider Ultegra Di2 for my new gravel bike instead of GRX.

RD-RX822-SGS & RD-M8100-SGS is long cage
RD-RX822-GS & RD-M8100-GS is mid cage
No duplicate of RD-M8120-SGS in Grx series, and a light weight RD-R7100 instead.
The grx can be the mech 12s ultegra if with r8100 crankset. XD
Just hoping grx and 105 shares the same pull ratio with the MTB RD. And no flatbar shifter in 12s mech road series right now.
And the 12s grx/105 FD looks the same as the 11s series, and the FD of (r7000, r8000, rx810, rx820, r7100) have the same weight about 95/96 g.
Will shimano change the pull ratio of FD again?
