Same experience. I now carry a valve core tool on the bike that carries this pump. Mine has the ABS pressure relief button, and it still sticks to the valve core.

And the piston head falling off... it's embarrassing. I twist-check everyones pump when they whip out a Lezyne.

I purchased the smaller OneUp and keep it loaded with a CO2 cannister. Not light. Haven't had to use it in anger yet. It has mounts on the gravel & XC hardtail.
