Some sort of hybrid between supercaliber and new madone lol
Just praying that they reduced that 2long/no traction 425mm chainstays to 420 or so..
And increase that nervus /hand fatiguing 57mm Trail closer to 70mm.
AND did i say modern forward saddle seat tube angle yet, so we dont need to rotate 20mm offset seatpost for 180 degrees?

Looks like it .. but 1,3k more for the expert? And it sure looks Heavy..
You are correct, exact the same component. This will be a very expensive bike.henau212 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 5:30 pmRemember the patent?:Minirac wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 3:45 pm

okay this might end up being funny
gotta love elastomers , gotta love overcomplicated design
i think they totally wont have issues with it ( especially regarding their recent history)
Marketing, and $$$ this is the way to go
To go even more in the diverge direction
And differentiate it from the " simpler " but great design crux

I own a Trek Supercaliber. I love the bike. One of my recurring thoughts is "When are they going to make a gravel version of this?"
Think about it- Short travel rear suspension that looks like a normal bike. Add a dropper and short travel fork- Perfect bike for techy gravel and beat up courses.

And like futureshock (which has a limited lifespan), you'll be limited to expensive proprietary parts that sit inside your frame.boots2000 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 4:50 pmI own a Trek Supercaliber. This shit's going way too far.

Seriously, the future shock 2.0 is nice for what it does but not at the cost of something like 300g extra at the very top of the bike aka the worst spot you'd want it.
Otherwise it's a great machine, and the geo changes work incredibly well. Wish someone could make something like the Futurshock delete in the clip below, but a bit lighter than the 164g mark (which still saves 185g from the Future Shock)
