Hi,

anyone knows something about Flanders Forte frameset und the brand?
I've stumbled about the frame. looks nice. currently i ride an orbea terra h size s. After 3 years the bike will be degraded to my future winterbike. The geometry of the forte frame seems to be spot on for me. Size M for my 178cm height an 83cm inseam.

Anyone knows, wich frameset this is? Perhaps there is a same set from an other distributor from europe?
Didn't get an answer from flanders about the question, wich bottom bracket type the frame has.

thanks a lot for infos
Michael

It's one of the more common open-mould gravel/CX frames. The design has been around a fair while so is available from plenty of manufacturers:

Workswell WCB-C-112 (can't find it on their website anymore but it's definitely this one)
Miracle Bike CX028 http://www.miraclebikes.com/Product/detail/id/27.html

Also available from some UK/Europe-based brands:
Handsling CEXEvo https://handslingbikes.com/collections/ ... ame-orange

I looked at getting a Flanders frame from their UK distributor but the website seems to have gone now. I did plenty of research about getting one direct from China, but picked up an amazing deal on a Ribble in the end.

the handsling looks like a modified version or updated. Wheelbase is longer, tire clearance greater (unless they are measuring with 650b), and their claimed weights substantially lower.

Have just been looking at this, they are using MTB size thru axles though which would make swapping wheels around impossible

Yes I got a Flanders recently and as you say the front TA is 15mm. I'm loving the ride, it is a bit of a pain but luckily I only use 1 wheelset for this bike!
