In the real world, BB86 with 30mm cranks is a non issue. Just use a high quality bottom bracket. My CX bike sees the worst possible conditions: dirt, salt, water, snow. Two years and still going strong

Unfortunately no frameset available... Do you think it will follow at some point?

My gravel and road bikes are also BB86 with 30mm spindles and zero issue with either.

My MTB uses a BB92 BBInfinite one-piece with 30mm spindle. Very satisfied.

I’ve had multiple creaks over the last two years, but none of them were the BB. Pedals, suspension linkage, rear TA, etc. While I’d love the convenience of a BSA BB, many companies are still using press fit, and it’s not a deal breaker for me.

Still you get lower life of bearings and those bb standards were devlopped for 24 mm axles
Not DUB 28;/// 29 or 30mm axles
ENjoy your alu shaft getting destroyed against hard steel bearings races

it's great for toe overlap.. or lack of. I would not have TO on this bike = nice. Well maybe if I ran 700x45
I had toe overlap on the 51cm frame I rode a couple of weeks ago. Size 42 in Specialized shoes.
But really liked the geometry, feels really fast and with control going downhill.

What Bb’s are you using?
I’ve got a BMC RM01one which I’d like to swap my quarq Dzero onto but even C-Bear have advised against and they make a Bb for this purpose!

Did someone try one out/ weigh all of the parts yet? Due for a test ride next week and am seriously intrigued whether this will turn out to be "the one"

Same here. About three years of use in all weather with no issues at all.

Why are you considering this?

Very interested in the Kaius as well but one thing that I'm having a hard time with is the transition between the fork and the head tube. It almost looks like the fork came from another bike, why BMC?!

Couldn't add an attachement so linking to a photo from Croydon:

That does look TERRIBLE...and it appears that the URS is done much better/normal:
