I've been running Pathfinder Pro tires (both 700c + 650b) for some time and have had nothing but great experiences. At ~200g lighter for a pair at only a $10 USD premium ($60/tires for the S-Works vs $55 for the Pro), this is among the cheapest weight savings available for a gravel bike.

Ah dang I wasn't in the market for tires but these might be too good to pass up. Get em now before they sell out for the next year!

I literally received my Pathfinder Pro 42s today at 535g for the one I weighed. The place I ordered from has a good return policy, so will see if they happen to get any of the S-Works ones in over the next few weeks and will exchange.

Haha, I also nominated them but got a response saying they had already been nominated by a number of members.

Def interested to see the numbers on BRR! Pathfinder Pros have been a great tire, fast and durable, only giving up a few watts to tires like the Terra Speed and new Getaway Pro. Lil lighter and faster and they'll be hard to beat.

Yep. I think I've ridden my Gravel H's like one ride  BUT if these go anything like the GP5000TL they could be unobtanium for a long while.

Just received mine.
The thread is definitely less aggressive than Pathfinder Pro.

The thing with tire weight is there are no free lunches. pretty much 100% of the time the lighter version wuill be more fragile, you just have to decide if the trade off is worth it.

... and how big the trade of really is. Not every heavy tire is puncture resistant, and not every light tire is puncture prone. It will likely be less resistant, but in my experience, the Pro is bomb proof, and I have been pretty happy with thinner tires (Challenge, Conti), too.

They look about like my Pros do right now, with some miles on them. Should still be plenty of grip. Def looking forward to trying them out. Should be a lil faster, and if the puncture protection is anywhere near the Pros, I'll be very happy with them.
