Thanks, just found that on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/gravelcycling/ ... nt_revolt/
and was going to link it.
I like the bolts in the tt behind the steerer.
Will be able to secure a bag there rather than have it velcroed on.

Any idea when it will be officially released?
Still nothing from Giant.

I really don't know why Giant insist on photographing the very small frame sizes on the Revolt, it looks very strange ... so much better in L and XL.

Every bike gets photographed in Medium size....that's pretty much the same across every brand.

This appears to be a Liv Devote with a Giant sticker.

Not necessarily bad, but would explain the sizing limit.

Well not that interested now.
My mate at the local Giant store got onto a '21 Revolt Advanced 2 in a L.
Grabbed it so that'll do me :D
Can't wait to hit the gravel roads away from texting, distracted drivers.

Well. The new 2022 Revolt was released before I had a chance to build the 2021 frameset I bought back in February #thanksshimano. Not sure I really need that 53mm clearance, so not upset at all.

What I missed on the older Revolt models were fender mounts.

During German autumn / winter and especially riding a a gravel bike in its natural habitat, fenders keep the bike and me as a rider so much cleaner.
Less bike washing, less cloth washing, less chain replacing, more riding.

And the added tire clearance would definitely help for running fenders + wide tires at the same time.
42mm tires + fenders should fit. Perfect for the winter setup.

Oh. My Revolt frame does have proper fender mounts, this was one of the main arguments for replacing the trusty old and much loved Defy with it. I'm actually finally building it over the weekend after next when the final bits and bobs are expected to have landed. I expect to be able to fit 50mm-wide fenders, which I am yet to order (want to build the thing first).

The preview screenshot that @wannez posted states 45mm clearance in "short" and 53mm clearance in "long." Is Giant just being conservative with 42mm now that it's officially announced?

Have you already chosen which fenders you're fitting. I'm interested to know if you have
