The hooked version with gp5000 in 32mm are just absolutely amazing, it rolls so fast and so easy to accelerate, I guess it has something to do with the light weight of the rim and relatively low weight of the tire, especially regarding the aerodynamic it's great as the rims are 45mm deep and wider than the tire
What is the width as measured when mounted?Casio20 wrote:The hooked version with gp5000 in 32mm are just absolutely amazing, it rolls so fast and so easy to accelerate, I guess it has something to do with the light weight of the rim and relatively low weight of the tire, especially regarding the aerodynamic it's great as the rims are 45mm deep and wider than the tire
I guess 35mm or so?
I expect this would be a fast combination for long road rides, and multi day trips. I have some 32mm tyres mounted on LB WR50f or this type of ride and for light gravel. I find it has minimal aero impact up to about 50kmh descents, above that speed the pure road rider with narrower tyres will pull away
Let us know how you find the sidewall wear after about 1000km of riding.
I'm having difficulties to upload photos, but the tire with of the 32mm gp5000 is around 35mm. Side wear is not much more then on a narrow rim, but I definitely recommend agx36 the shallower rim for all day long riding, or do you sit in an aero position all day long?

Any update? I'm new to chinese rims, and a bit concerned that the 3T are 100g heavier per rim.

I have used mine with 32mm PRO ones.. Measured 36mm tubeless setup. Iam very happy with the rims. They also look insane...

How about putting some more details and how they look with tires mounted. And show yourself riding with them on.

That’s a pretty nice price for those especially as an alternative to 3T Discus wheelset. Thx for posting.sunfire2k5 wrote:Hi and thanks!
Wheelset is usd249 per rims and highly dependent on what spokes and hubs you want to use. Nextie builds them for just usd 30. Mine is cx ray and dt 240 exp and i also bought some with dt350s for my friends. I believe they ended up at about usd 950-1000 with dt 350.
Check out their "builder" online or send them an email for quotation. Info@nextie.com or alice@nextie.com
