Very nice! Also, I know this is weight weenies, but one thing learned years ago on the MTB side, a lighter bike does not make the best bike for off road use. I stopped looking at weight and focused on 'what did I want the bike to be/do'. Hence I ended up with a comfortable, durable, easy to maintain all-rounder bike (rough tracks to long touring trips) that was very differernt from my sub 7kg climbing road bike. Plus, I built to a budget of $2,500 USD for everything.
Comes in at almost exactly 9kg. But that's with 47mm tyres with butyl tubes.
Waltly Ti Frame, Ti seat tube with carbon forks (1,800g frame fork, 500g forks)
Lun Grapid 650b wheels (1400g) - ex demo purchase/find
WTB Byway 650 Tyres (1,070g per pair)
Butyl tubes (must be 250-300g per pair)
Carbon 36 degree flared bars
Alu Uno stem
Rival 1 - mechanical 1x, hydraulic gears (I could save weight here obviously) - 2nd hand, taken off a new bike.
I'll probably get some 700c wheels and tyres to swap out for faster rides, that could save +500g. Photos of quick test after initial build, steerer uncut as I haven't applied my bikefit measurements yet.

That's a sweet build. How are you finding the Juin Tech brakes? I've got one bike with Spyre, and another with hydro Rival. Finally built up the crux frameset I got at the end of last year. Due to a separated shoulder, I had to take a short break from gravel.
Very happy with the build. This bike replaced a 2020 crux elite (earlier in this thread) and it feels better on both road and gravel. I went for a more offroad focused build this time and sized up for more stack to tame the steeper single track around here. Still was able to save about 500g. Most of the savings were in the frame and wheels.

Currently finishing a rebuild of my budget open mold Grevil (I know it's a love hate frame here).
It's pretty much done just need to replace the current bar wrap.

The groupset and seat were a gift. Otherwise wouldn't be upgrading.
Noticeable weight loss just from swapping groupsets and losing that anvil called the giant conduct.
Overall it rides noticeably different and the wireless groupset is night/day.
Gonna probably get some red dub cranks and some mforce 8 ti pedals in the future until then biggest weight saving is myself getting fitter

In hindsight I may want to, but I'd like to get another Ti seatpost, I like the look of it.
Alternatively I may go with a setback dropper post to increase offroad ability.

The bike I have the Juin Tech brakes on is externally routed so the cable routing is very smooth which may help things, the rotors are Galfer ones.
In comparison the TRP Spyres are much, much worse. Both of them use TRP compressionless cables and outers.
I really like them. I've used F1 and GT on several road and gravel bikes and all have performed well. Not quite as good as 9170 mostly due to cable friction but not too far off. Couple of things on the Crux is the tight cabling and the 160/180mm position of the brake mounts on the fork. Use low friction cable/housing and 180mm rotors up front because the Juintechs are one size up.
