Have anyone successfully make the gearoop work with the sram red etap axs?
I tried to install the 46-30t 8bolt on sram red etap axs groupset with no luck.
The FD can't move the chain from the small chainring to big, whatever i set the limit screw.

I've faced the same issue the first time I tried to upshift. For me the solution was simple. I've just checked if the derailleur cage was parallel to the chainrings, twisting it ever so slightly that the bottom cage part was a bit in towards the frame (almost unnoticeable).

I'm on EPS though.

Not trying to evangelize anyone here, but when I've bought my new bike 2 years ago, I've stumble across a big dilema for me, which was sticking with my group set brand (Campy) or finally moving away from it due to the ridiculous EPS price tag.

After many years on Campy I've moved away and bought my bike with AXS... and it was the worst experience - bike related - I ever had, due to FD issues. No matter what my LBS did, the FD never worked as it should, to the point where SRAM themselves asked for the complete chainset and FD to test the set (and I'm talking SRAM chainset here, not Gearoop).

Since the frameset was scuffed all over from chain drops, and since I had the bike parked without a chainset, I went to ask my LBS to install the gearoop with a spare RED FD that they had, praying that the issue was on my original FD and that this new one could eventually work, and revealing that on the end was my FD the faulty piece in this puzzle, but...

Same s**t!

After warranty issues swapping the scuffed frameset I've set to embrace the ideia of spending my hard earn cash and buy the EPS groupset without the Campy chainset.

In its place I've bought an Easton EC90SL which I use with Alugear aero chainrings, chainset that I swap when travelling to the mountains where I use the Gearoop with... no issues! Just swap the chainset, lower the FD and install my cut chain for the Gearoop. Zero chain drops so far!

Gearoop on Ultegra 12sp, with ultegra chain, praxis zayante carbon. Not perfect but acceptable shifting.
