I’m planning to get the road specific cassette which is just the standard SRAM/Shimano HG driver.

All the 11-36 options are MTB spacing, AFAIK, so they'll also fit on the 10 speed hub if that's a factor.
SRAM's cassettes definitely aren't, they required an 11 speed road freehub.

Yes that’s true. The 11-36 PG1130 from SRAM is certainly 11 speed free hub only. I tried it on a 10 speed free hub body thinking that it was a mountain bike cassette and it did not fit; it was too wide.

I went for the SRoad in the end and picked up the XDR adapter for my rims, around 280g. Shifts smoothly and is a good range!

since 11-34 and 11-36 have massive jumps between gear ratio, i gave up trying to smooth out the change, i rather go full-on lightweight (wihtin reasonable reliability). i had Sram PG-1170 11-36 and ultegra HG800 11-34, now im on ZTTO SLR 2, so far so good. saved just over 100g compared to shimano 11-34 :beerchug:

PS: im using DA HG901 chain with squirt wax on a Campy Centaur system. the front is chorus 12 48/32 :beerchug:
Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.
n+1...14 last time i checked, but i lost count

A few months on my experience with the Sunroad cassette is mixed. Shifting in the mid range can be poor and it makes a really unsatisfactory clang. I also picked up a ZTTO SLR2 for my road bike and switched back to the R8000 after one ride.

It isn't terrible, but no where near as nice and clean as an Ultegra cassette.

I wonder how one of these expensive sram cassettes would fare?

I have maybe 300 miles on this cassette. Started creaking really bad. Upon inspection, I noticed the rear spider has bent and 3 of the point of attachment are completely out of place. Torqued to spec. Not sure what happened. I don't make that much power. Disappointed because this thing shifts great. Going to contact aliexpress seller to see if they can replace it. The spider arms were straight up and down, not so much anymore.

Crap. For 11-36 11sp cassette buy either Sunrace csrx1 or SRAM PG-1170 (both weigh around 360g). All other options are unreliable and not worth 80g savings.
I personally ended up with shimano 11-34 hg800 ultegra-ish cassette, just decided to train my legs more. 330g no hassle reliable abd good ratios.
