It's just anecdotal evidence of course, but in several decades of cycling I never experienced any creaking whatsoever - until I got blessed with pressfit bottom brackets. Then,100% of the bikes with pressfit have had problems. Sometimes minor as in a recent past bike, and sometimes major as in my current ride. I can't wait to get back to a threaded bottom bracket!
T47, from what I've read, is more compatible with large spindle cranksets than BSA. I'll take either.

• An old bike, more fun than the new one actually

If there is a number 3 crux on the UCI approved frame-sheet, wouldn't you think it's a new crux?;)FactoryMatt wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 10:02 pmlink? not seeing anything other than the 11/20 uci sheet.

Yeah, and unlikely to break cover until just before the next CX season I'd guess

I need a 54 - the new version with threaded bottom bracket, though.

in a crux? 38-40 max on the rear. front is more.
Hopefully clearance is a small amount more, perhaps up to 45mm.
Then I will happily switch to Crux from a Diverge. I do not like the FutureShock. It works okay but is heavy and there are maintenance, spare parts questions for the future.
