you must use a 34.9mm Front Derailleur + the shim band that comes with the frame. they warn NOT to use a 31.8 FD directly on the frame.

23mm ID rim is fine. i run 22+ 38c tire, comes out to about 41mm width. max actual tire width is really about 40mm without rubbing when the rear tire/wheel flexes.

Why is that?

I have a 31.8 der directly mounted and hasn't caused and issue?

i don't know, but i suspect they're concerned about the clamp applying even pressure on the tube. mine came with a written notice in bold writing warning against doing so. the shim that comes with the frame is pretty elaborate.

How wide do the 33mm tracers blow up on your 25mm wheels?

I’ve got 38mm tracers on 19mm internal wheels, it seems like all the newer gravel stuff is super wide and the Crux doesn’t have a whole ton of space. I was thinking I’d have to drop down to 35s if I got a wide rim like that to fit in the frame.

38 terrenos on 22mm internal hookless are fine. i run a little coke can taped inside of the chainstays for good measure.

there's no need for 25i rims on gravel tires IMO.

15.75lbs with Enve CX Tubulars, XG1190 11-32 cassette, Zipp SL Speed post, stem, and SL70 carbon ergo bars. Love this bike, titanium spindles for the XTR pedals on the way.

I was willing to try these out. Picked up a pair for my Ultegra R8000 pedals as well.
