Does anyone have a Token ninja BB and red crank arms? What spacer did you install? I have mounted the 2mm that comes with the BB

Anyone tried both Force AXS XPLR and Ekar?

I’m about to take delivery of an Apex build and will be doing a groupset swap as well as adding a set of Hunt wheels.

Plan is for an 80/20 road/gravel n=1. I’m settled on 1x but torn between the two groupsets. Cost isn’t a factor as the difference is about £100 on current deals. I’ve had and liked campy shift logic before, never done electronic.

As I see it Ekar has the more suitable gear ratios for my needs (13spd, 40t/9-42). SRAM gearing is comparatively less versatile (9-36 not ideal for gravel, 10-44 not ideal for road), but has the benefit of wireless/electronic.

I can also get an XDR freehub from Alexrims to use the stock wheels as a second set, but I emailed and they don’t make a N3W freehub body (I was the first to ask apparently).

I know I can’t go wrong with either but that doesn’t stop me agonising over it!

Campy is top-end mechanical, Sram in 1x is as good as electric shifters can be. I earn for living sitting by a computer so I don't want any electronics on my bikes - but if you have no such reservations it's hard to argue with cold precision of electric shifting.
For 80% road i would see some benefit in tight spacing of Campagnolo cassette though.

Haven't tried Ekar, but I have Di2 on my Aspero and AXS on my MTB. I like Di2 better. Just feels a touch crisper and more precise. If you haven't tried both, you'd never notice though.

Hi guys! I have the stock Easton seatpost stuck fast in my Aspero. I tried to ask around for suggestions on Facebook group, and guys recommended to use WD40 and/or boiling hot water. No luck with applying WD40. Has anyone tried applying hot water? Will the paint come off? Any other suggestions for removing stuck seapost?

nice bike - could you tell me please what tire size/width this is? I'm currently looking for a Aspero with Zipp 303s but I'm unsure what the max tire width would be. 42mm? Or could 45 still fit in?

Try to find a good penetrating Oil and let that work it's way in for a day or two. Worst case scenario would be to crush the seatpost and hope that works it free

Another option, loosen the bolt and go for a ride, just don't get too far from home

Anyone have any experience to say if you can go to a 46t 1x chainring if you are using a Sram Wide crank?

I'm told 44t was the biggest you could fit

Mine (Aspero 5) came built with SRAM Rival Wide with a 46t.
I'm swapping to GRX now, but rode it once with the supplied setup and it was fine.
