Hello Boogie,
I sold my Ridley Supercross because it was too big - didn't really feel good on the bike because it was too long and too high! This size 48cm suits me very nicely!!!

i think if you kneel down and take the picture from the BB height the proportions might look better than they look know. right now the bar height/saddle height ratio seems a bit weird to me...
also, you then got the right position to worship your beauty

no, i f.e. ride without any spacers and with the stem turned down. but i work for an MTB magazine, and whenever we take pictures of bikes (f.e. at Eurobike, where we got our own Photo-booth) we shoot them from a lower position to get the proportions right
