2025 10R frameset is available for 2.2k€ at hibike at the moment.
Damn, was ready to buy it in an instance, even the perfect colorway (burnt gold) but they're out of my size.
Great deal though...

Update: available to purchase again. However no lead time for delivery..

Currently sitting at 7.15kg as pictured (minus the bag, but including cages and Garmin mount). Nothing too unusual except the red-E1 + Magene + e-thirteen ring crankset with Ekar groupo. Farsport carbon spokes wheelset (35/32g) with trickstuff rotors, and Wove Mag saddle on Darimo seatpost.

Does anyone with a 2025 model know if the headset issue that people have been having is fixed? Looking at ordering a 2025 and want to know if I should just put a wolf tooth headset in right away.

thanks!

According to the recent Escape Collective review the issue still exists with the 2025 Crux DSW.

Very nice build! What tires are those and where did you find that seatpost clamp?

Did you have to custom order the wheels from FS? They're not listed on their site anywhere?

You can add 0.5mm of headset shims to fix the problem. That's what I did. Specialized said they may have replacement top headset bearing covers in stock at the end of Nov.

Yup, that's the reference to give them: FS36/32GH-700C 20h/20h RD270 straight pull disc hub

Thanks! Challenge gateway HTLR 44s for the tires. The seatpost is a wolftooth with their optional titanium bolt and nut. Not the lightest option (I had a Tune that was much lighter for a bit, but the non matching gold shade was bothering me). Happy to sent the Tune one to anyone interested btw

Anyone has an idea whether it would be possible to put Campagnolo SR EPS on crux, would it work? Or is chainstay too long? Some other considerations against it? @graeme_f_k? :)
I was pondering building a Crux with Eps or 12spd Campag but was told that max chainring size is 42T?

Any experiences with integrated cockpits for the crux?

I'm considering
- Roval Alpinist (no flare)
- Ritchey super Logic butano (dedicated gravel but 100 grams more then the alpinist at 417 grams

Or going the traditional way
- Enve G series handlebar with road stem
- Zipp xplr 70 Carbon

Opinions and experiences are appreciated!

Sorry if I don't read 121 pages and the question has been asked already but - what's the largest WAM that has been safely fitted to the rear of a Crux with a 1x setup? Safely meaning, no / limited risk of rubbing and damage to the frame. I am considering the DSW but would like to be able to fit a 50mm tyre at the back.

Have you purchased it even without known lead time? I'm thinking about it too..
But also I'm kinda stuck on size decision. 54 vs 56  179 cm, 73,8 cm saddle height with 170 mm cranks... I guess both sizes are ok. 54 more racey, 56 more comfy? What would look better? That is the most important :D
Thanks!

Edit: On page 112 or so I found that similar saddle height was discussed. May I ask for a photo of 56 frame with that saddle height? Or 54 if someone has? Thanks a lot!

Hi, i'm 1,78 m, 84 cm inseam, same saddle height, 170 mm cranks. I choose a 54 and its fits perfect. Top tube on a 56 would be to long.

Safest WAM is what Specialized say, 47mm in 700c. I briefly ran tires that actually measured 50mm but removed them because there was only 3mm clearance to the chainstays. May have been OK for dry conditions, but I ride in sloppy gravel and didn't want to take any chances.
