I just finished my build yesterday.
Truth is that with 50/34, those chainring bolts are very close to the chainstay and it will be safer to add the 2.5mm spacer to the drive side, and also 2.5mm spacers underneath the left pedal axle.

update: the 2.5mm spacer is not friendly with ultegra di2 front mech, there is slight rub even in maximum positions of limiter. I can put another 2.5mm spacer underneath the front mech hanger, but i decided to keep it without any spacers for now.

Looks awesome. What size frame is that? I've read some comments that these frames fit a bit 'large' ...would you say that is accurate? I'm trying to figure out what size to buy for one of these.

I have 56cm.
Yew it has higher stack than my previous sl8 56cm.
It comes with 10cm stem which I would replace for 9cm.

Is your front brake caliper in the 180 position? Better check it.

Good catch. It was for 300 meters. I fixed that later. For some reason it (caliper) came configured like this.

Thanks. It was fun to plan out what I wanted/needed and see it come together. The Roval bars are nice. I have the alpinist version on my Aethos. They have a suttle egg shape on the tops, shorter reach which I needed for this build given the longer frame reach, but the drops are a bit too shallow. My hands feel a bit more pinched behind the brake levers.

I came to a conclusion that i really need all in gravel wheelset to give more support to tires and avoid that bulb effect, so i purchased 303S XPLR. Especially when those dt1100 were really thin (20/26.5mm). Very easy to install those tires, only with track pump, rim shape is nice, and man i love the transition between rim and tire, it looks really good.

Now i am just considering whether yes or swap from ultegra di2 to grx di2 rear mech. I would like to increase a chain tension, reduce chain slap, but truth is that i am not getting much of chain slaps, i have mostly mild gravel routes here, i am not planning any singletrails or root / stones stones rides.

Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade the stem on my 2024 Crux and is thinking of a S-works SL -12 degree stem. But before I hit the Buy-button I'm wondring how a -12 degree stem would look on a crux. Anyone that have a picture of that? I'm a bit worried that the angle will look weird compared to the top tube slope. or if someone have a photo of a -10 degree stem?
Cheers!

You can increase the tension of the cage on your ultegra di2 rear derailleur. There is a small grub screw, preloading the cage spring.
Its not mentioned in shimano documents but the cyclocross teams running shimano dura ace do that and thats where i learned about it.

Are you sure that applies also to 12s? The spring on the cage can be tied only at one place. Other screw is b-gap screw, but that increase the tension only barely.

yes, pretty sure. Had a picture where to look for the screw on my phone, but can't find it at the moment.
