How much does your gravel bike weigh? (why are they so heavy?)
Moderator: Moderator Team
You can target sub 7.5kg and have a perfectly functional gravel bike to hit some fairly gnarly gravel races (at least that's what I do with mine). At least sub 8kg should be easily achievable.

Canyon Grizl Portakal edition
That's very impressive! Do you mind sharing some details about the build? Looking at Canyon's website SRAM 1x rival e-Tap carbon version has stated weight of 9.32kg (I think Canyon provides weights for medium size as all my Canyon bikes are lighter than stated weight).7 800 gr with powermeter, pedals, bottle & garmin cages
Let's say I put carbon wheels on it to save around 500-600g from the stock wheelset (which has stated weight of 2062g). Force vs Rival is like 200g difference if I google correctly. That's still far into 8.x territory even in smaller sizes. What have you done to shave that much weight?
