Hey fellow Scott owners! This thread is for everyone with their sweet scott build. I'll be joining you guys soon as my 05 scott limited is 3 weeks away!

EDIT

The purpose for this post is to allow everyone to exchange ideas on how to push their scott ( and other bikes) to the limit in terms of weight and performace.

I would like to also see what everyones scott looks like and we can all exchange ideas and reasons for each one of our builds.

Let the posting begin!

Is this intentional time-wasting, or are you looking for a friend?

It sure looks that way.
As far as I can tell, the Scotts (and lots of other bikes) that have actually been built have already been effectively posted.
What's the point of yet another (third or fourth or fifth and counting) thread related to this particular bike, given that it's not even finished yet and won't even provide any surprises?

I certainly did not mean to imply you were keeping your build list "secret"...quite the opposite.
Even Dr. Dos is going to have a hard time leap-frogging all these threads.

This whole site has become a Superlite love fest--but it's mostly self-love. OK, he has a light bike (well pieces of a light bike...) And he's young and full of spunk, unlike us old guys who have been riding longer than he's been alive, but we can't hold that agin him. The Scott is clearly a very cool frame on which to hang lots of very expensive and very light equipment, which most of us pay retail for, but he seems to pay less for. Of course, we don't have to click on his threads, but in the end, what else is there to click on? Threads on Giants are passe, most other bikes are too heavy, so we're left with Superlite and his build. At least it's entertaining.

cheers,

There are in fact quite a few other riders with, yes, maybe heavier bikes, and perhaps less cash or at-cost opportunities, who could in fact benefit greatly.
Isn't diversity the buzz-word of our era?

Pointless thread IMO.

You can discuss changes or additions to your bike on your other thread.

Its locked I'm afraid Superlite.
