Integrated cockpit -> aero external cable routing [photos]

Has anyone performed or considered routing cables externally through this hole, into the frame and fork?
It's available in some bars.




This is the routing on my bike, I can't evaluate whether it's a stupid idea (:

I am not sure if you can make a sharp bend like that with both hydraulic hoses in that tight spot.
If you have a hose lying around you could try to bend it like that without damages.

I did it just to create much better cable routing, no problem so far

Looking neat, that's my goal too. I wonder whether it would work with longer spacers though.
