New Canyon CP0030 Cockpit - Carbon voids

Got a new CP0030 from Canyon that appears to have significant chips/voiding near the pinch bolt - is this safe to ride on, or should it be sent back?

It might not fail, but it's not safe. Those jagged surfaces can cut into the steerer.
