A friend of mine bought a 2022 Addict RC 15, that has a slamed stem, and he would like to raise the stem ~10mm. I know there are extenders for 1 1/8", but I have not seen any for 1 1/4". Is there any options out there, or only the new fork option?

Its pretty trivial to have a simple one made from 3d printed Ti or 17-4 stainless and then glued in with an epoxy or in the case of the latter epoxy with glass beads. You would probably want it to have the same insertion depth as the expander you are taking out of the bike. I would guess a local machine shop might know of someone local who can help and even measure the part to get the correct fit with the interior of the tube.

You could get it made with m6 threads in it or if you really wanted, sized to take a 1 1/8 expander.

A machine shop will suggest aluminum. It will work fine.
