Need help Bike sleuths...

While riding on the trainer tonight I noticed creaking coming from the cranks/BB. After my session with me off the bike same result. It's worse spinning the cranks backward. Took the bike off the trainer, chain still attached, still noise. Pushing the bike forward very slight creak, rolling it backward, lots of creaky noise. Re lubed the chain, same. Tried spinning the crank backwards by hand - it doesn't make a full revolution, seems to hang on one spot....Doesn't appear to be play in the cranks, Pedals spin free...Any ideas ??

Bike is 2018 Cannondale Synapse - BB30 SISL cranks...

BB bearings would be my guess...
