Calipers:
I had a one night stand with Magura brakes, but I went back to Shimano.
I had a summer affair of convenience with SRAM brakes but they were too crazy, yelled too much, and not nearly hot enough to warrant that kind of behavior. So I went back to Shimano.
I thought about running away with TrickStuff once. They were so hot, but also impossible to get. So I found a newer younger set of Shimano brakes and have lived happily ever after since.
The Shimano 9270 are a notable improvement in design. They check all the boxes for me.
Discs:
When it comes to discs I've tried many. Galfer Wave and SwissStop have been good to me. I'll likely continue to use them.
Pads:
I've tried many and find the SwissStop and Shimano pads offer the best compromise of performance in my environment. I still haven't found a pad that doesn't irritate me when wet/damp. I hate that screeching sound.

Galfer has the CB003 6-bolt to AFS adaptor.
For the Campy rotor, it will clear all SRAM, Shimano and Hope calipers. Unsure about the thickness tho. Are you talking about the 03 AFS rotor? I think it is 1.90 or 1.85?

Related to this, I've often toyed with the idea of swapping my R8020 calipers for Hope RX4+ ones. Apparently the old RX4's were hard to set up, are the pluses any easier? Also I'd the braking performance noticeably better?
Also if anyone has swapped from Shimano, was there any weight saving?

One of my cl900 160mm warped the other day. Pretty sure it was after a fast-ish descent on a cold/wet morning, so I dunno if it was the hot-cold thing or what but I'm thinking of moving to a different brand. Had this issue multiple times wish shimano rotors and kind of sick of it now.
Campy 03, swiss stop catalyst pro or galfer wave seem to be the go? Any one better than the others?
