I kinda like the latex tube on the fork as its a subtle way of showing you race the bike. Didnt know there is black latex tubes tho, might look cleaner on some bikes.
Just found out I have a bulged disc so lets see how much racing will be possible this year anyways. Will remove the tube just beaucse of the color mismatch anyways and swtich to black butyl i guess

Ouch, good luck with that and hope it doesn't hamper your riding too much

Man, its been a while since I've raced a bike, do they use timing chips on the fork now?

What size butyl do you use? I have a hard time getting a standard innertube over the fork.

As this is a new topic, i thought it would be nice to have the new colorways listed :)

https://www.specialized.com/us/en/allez ... 520-221508
Australian website also has a blue option - not sure if it will be available in any other markets. Looks to have a marbled texture to it. Seems like the premium option for the model year.

Listed as: Gloss Blue Onyx + Sapphire Blue Strata Astral Blue

I guess that makes the 2024 offering effectively 'red white and blue'? Is that a subtle nod to the US/French flags for the olympics?

That thing is beautiful. I'd buy that in a heartbeat to build up for crits.

Does anyone own or has ridden both Allez sprint and Tarmac SL7 /SL8? How big of a difference is between them? Assuming everything else is the same.

here's mine in the cactus blossom color on a grey day - it's a weird color that shifts from coral pink to orange under direct sunlight

I asked a Rider Care rep from Specialized about this color and whether it will be coming to the US and he didn't know, and actually said it was the first he's ever seen this color. Fingers crossed.
