Anyone got confirmation on european (in EUR) pricing? What I've seen online seems hella expensive compared to the USD pricing on factors website...
On Factor's website all prices are tax free ! So local tax where bike is delivered must be paid on top of website's price .
In Europe we can find frameset package with integrated aero handlebars and CeramicSpeed BB with promo discount at 4100€ tax free or 4950€ including taxes. Complete bikes or frameset package with new BlackInc 48/58 also is possible to order in EU . :beerchug:

Wow. I have not seen anything close to that pricing. It would probably be worth buying in Europe with the promo and paying the important into the US at those prices.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.
In build: SW SL8

If that's really true, Factor must be having some real difficulty shifting product atm ... there's been close to no discounting since the original Ostro was launched, and nothing remotely near this 'generous'. €4950 vs €7560 is an enormous difference, and though still very expensive would make it pretty competitive compared with some of the competition.

Edit: I found €5230 including VAT, so I guess some dealers probably are doing sub €5000. That's over €1000 cheaper than the masses of stock of the old Ostro many dealers are fruitlessly trying to clear.

the now "old" version frameset is available for that price in some shops. All4cycling.com for example.

Ciclimattio. Ostro 2.0 €5224 including Italian VAT. Seatpost, BB, cockpit all included.

I sent a couple of emails to other dealers ... they're not advertising, but they'll do €5k.

So I don't doubt the guy who said €4950.

It looks like oversupply and price fatigue have finally set in.

The only thing the "big" brands have done, is open a huge market for Bross, Seka yada yada. They'll soon start to see it themselves.

Given that you can now get a decent Ostro VAM Version 1 for 2000E, you have to REALLy want the V2 for 6000.........especially as the V1 is lighter.

They've certainly given a huge amount of breathing room to upstart Chinese brands, allowing them margins they'd previously only dreamed of, whilst still being less than half the price of big brands.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ostros are down to €4k by late autumn. Same boat for a lot of second tier brands. The real story will be if you see shit like Tarmacs and Dogmas getting reduced ... we'll see how strong their supposedly impregnible brands really are.
