I love having the 10t cog. It’s great for those points in races where we’re doing 50km/h at Z2 power and I just want some feedback/resistance while doing 80rpm. It allows me to run a cassette with 330% range that also has six 1-tooth jumps. I don’t think SRAM is telling people not to worry about the 10t cog, rather they are presenting it as overall beneficial to most riders…which it is.
This!

The 10T cog and the pully wheels are completely different use cases. The 10T is at the edge of your cassette and likely gets used a tiny fraction of your overall ride time....the pully wheels are rotating 100% of the time that you're pedalling.
Both of you 100%! 👍

They for sure will look a lot less ugly if in the prod version they will have huge SRAM logos all over the lever blade
Alas those are pro only. Even SRAM employees can't get hold of those. Becuase I agree, the big logo versions logo awesome.
I managed to scoop a brand new pair of SRAM Red D1 shifters with the pro-only logo tratment off eBay a while back. While the regular Red levers don't look bad per se, there's no question that the simple silver SRAM treatment on the pro shifters is the best look. Now the trick will be finding the matching SRAM crankset with the pro decals... IMO these are an even greater aethetic improvement over the regular Red arms. Might have to take matters into my own hands and get arts 'n' craftsy with a regular set of Red crankarms.

Confirming plenty of long camera-moto shots of it at K-B-K if you feel like searching for it.

I would expect function to be almost identical to Rival and Force D2. Not much point unless you're desperate to save a couple of g.
