Does anyone know if the new (larger) pulley wheels also fit the previous version rear derailleur?

Got both of my full groupsets already.. Why two? Well - on the day it came out there were some coupons floating around at online retailers that worked when they probably shouldn't have.. and I ordered from two different places figuring one of them might get clawed back. Of course neither did. And now I have the choice of returning, reselling, or picking up another frameset :noidea:

I don't know if this video is already named before. If yes, then I'm sorry, I don't want to bother you all.

The guys from Rad Race (Hamburg Germany) met at SRAM Germany to buod a bike with the new SRAM Red AXS. They had an absolutley interesting and detailed interview with the tech guys from SRAM about the new group. Link below.

Lever design is a big improvement.
Previous lever designs and competitor lever designs have been based on the fact that the mechanical shifting mechanism had to be included in the housing.
Position of the hydraulic cilinder is completely different. Very clever design improvement.

Errr, so where is the piston in a Shimano DI2 lever then?

I have a Rotor 2inpower direct mount road crankset lying around and I am entertaining the idea of building up a 2x all road bike using that and the new sram red groupset. Can anyone inform me what I need to look at with regards to the chainline?

Just from comparing specs the new sram red crankset has a 45mm chainline vs 43.5mm on the 2inpower. Will this mean problem with shifting or is this something that can be adjusted using offset chainrings? Or will it maybe not be a problem at all?

Why would there will be problem with shifting, Sram has currently standard and wide offering which is 2.5mm outboard and it shifts well with either if setup correctly. Only thing is if there is enough adjustment in the front derailleur for your chain line.
