Fulcrum speed 42, not the lightest but definitely a reliable and highly well manufactured wheelset
little over 1400g.. better then CRD @ 1750.. so I only get to save 50g over yours . Thanks!
Hi mate
Can’t reply to your msg directly dunno why
Bb ceramic help me through my racing and their stuff is the best I’ve experienced so far (way beyond ceramicspeed, c bear etc… - mechanic point of view here) I did not go full coated, only « basic » ceramic as weather is pretty dry in my region.
Hope this helps
Cheers

In the market for a new aero bike, thoughts on this bike versus the Scott Foil RC Ultimate (or any of the tiers)? I noticed this bike has a 36cm handlebar stock for the 51cm size versus Scott Foil only goes to 38cm.

How much?

I love everything about that except the wheels. Not a huge fan of Princeton. I'd rather save my money and go with a different brand. But the matching is on point.

Beautifully matched bike.

My other half now wants Princeton wheels after seeing some at Sigma Sports. Oh they spin forever on those tune hubs.....

That's a fair take on the wheels. We just wanted to install some cool parts to show off the new bike. I believe this one ended up going out for $11.5k before tax.

The Princetons are really nice. The Tactic hubs in particular are very impressive, but the Tune hubs are very nice as well.

Yes. We trace and cut any decals or logos that we want to recreate, and we keep them all on file. We offer this service for projects like this one.

Don't mean to derail the topic, but what about all the theories behind shoulder width etc?
Has BMC provided some science to confirm 36cm is indeed fine for all?

it's not fine for all, and no one ever said it was. Thats why they offer the 04 model (the 2 piece bar/stem)

Shoulder width is a bit like KOPS. It may line up with optimal fits for some people, but many not. According to shoulder width I should have 43 at the hoods. Instead I have 38 with large inward tilt on the road bike (I'd go 36 or narrower if I could find the bar I needed in it), and 35 with moderate inward tilt (but more flare) on the gravel bike. 40 feels too wide for me, 38 is doable. 36 and below good. 42 and above just feel horrible.

Some people have a tendency to flare their elbows out on narrow bars, which they find very difficult not to do. I naturally drop mine, which is both a more relaxed and aero position. If the bars are 'wide' I can't relax my position.

Hey RDY,

I can't respond to your PM because my account is too new. To be honest, I didn't actually remove the stem during assembly to see if this bike has the foam-filled steerer. However, I can confirm that the new Speedmachine uses the foam-filled steerer, so I'm willing to guess that the Teammachine R still uses this system as well. I will check when our next shipment of Teammachine Rs arrives.
