Ride is surprisingly comfortable! Coming from a 2nd gen Supersix Evo and more recently Tarmac SL6 Ultralight, I would say it's more comfortable than the S6 and on par with the SL6. Some of that may be due to the tires (28mm vs 25mm). It generally feels faster overall and more stable descending than the SL6. Those are my preliminary thoughts on ride feel/quality.

Some weights:
- Frame: 970g (size M, including bottle cage bolts and derailleur hangers)
- Fork: 416g (uncut)
- Seatpost: 100g (no hardware)
- Stem: 96g (90mm, no bolts)
- Handlebar: 221g (420mm)
- Expander plug: 40g
- Seatpost clamp: 25g
- Headset cap: 12g
- Headset bearings: 43g
- Thru axles: 62g (front and rear)

Some cons: frameset heavier than SL8/gen 4 supersix, framesets come with pre-defined stem lengths and handlebar widths (M = 100m stem, 420mm bar)

Pros: build quality and finishing of the frame seems top-notch, w/ tight tolerances, and everything seems well engineered / thought out. Example: the handlebar has 2 exit ports for the internal cable routing to the shifters - one for Shimano and another for SRAM - so the hydraulic hoses have the shortest, smoothest connection to the shifter. Lifetime frame warranty. Classic Mondrian paint scheme. Horizontal top tube, but w/ dropped stays.

I was on the fence between the gen 4 supersix, SL8, or the new 795 Blade RS as my first 'aero' disc brake road bike. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but I'm happy with my decision!

Nice, love the proportions and the build. How's the shifting on the Carbon Ti rings? Might have to go that way due to shortages of the Shimano 54T rings.

You're probably right, as the wheelset came in at 1,468g (with tubeless tape but without valves or thru axles).
