Lighter with battery, basically all the weight saving comes from shifter and rear derailleur
crank is pretty much the same, only different graphic. and DUB only

Heard few stories from friends who went to Taichung last week.

basically it will be lighter than current Dura-Ace 12 speed disc groupset
no more different front derailleur for bigger chainring (52T up)
improved front shifting
might be sold with Hammerhead computer as a bundle
Is red lighter with or without batteries and if we use the same crank on both?

Question is whether it is lighter than Shimano if you exclude cransket from both.

Many of us ride 3rd party cranks, and the heaviest part of Shimano is the crank. It's the only reason currently the weights are comparable at all.

Shimano DA group with D1 crank has been 200g lighter than a Sram group with the same crank.

Heck, Ultegra with D1 cranks is closer in weight to Red with D1 cranks.

So nothing new then. I got a little excited there for a moment.
