Alright, I've read through the dozen or so threads about the Shimano RS80/RS81 wheel carbon issues over the years. Recently got a Supersix Evo Hi-mod with RS81s that look atrocious. My RS80 never ever looked like this, but I never really rode it in the wet.
My first instinct is to ditch these wheels, but I figured many years have passed with this issue being around and maybe there's more insight into the actual failure mode/rate. Would anyone keep riding these wheels? In another spot, a bit of the clearcoat has flaked off, but for the most part, it's all sub surface
