hello eveyone,

any good experiences using Sram red crank 46/33 in R8070 groupset?

I''m thinking to replace the actual R8000 crankset 50/34 to sram red dub crank 46/33, it is possible and any issues?

the reason the new sram red dub are very ligth just 577gr, this is very awesome to put in shimano groupset.

the dura ace still heavy over 686 gr and the ultegra R8000 still 711gr.

So if yes, It will be great to reduce the bike weigth 100gr less.

tks

Are you referring to sram red axs crankset or 11 speed red crankset? The 12-speed crank/chainrings are def not compatible. The 11sp stuff should all be swappable between shimano/sram though AFAIK.

Do you need a power meter? I am using Red cranks w/ Quarq 4 bolt PM Spider and Shimano rings.
