Get the Magene PES for 299 shipped
Do you have one? Have you done an accuracy comparision? Price is definitely good!
I've been using one since around November and it's great. It's spot on with my Favero Assiomas. Little heavy but it was a direct swap for Shimano cranks. One note is that you have to change the offset if you use oval chainrings beacuase oval chainrings will read higher. But if you use standard round rings the accuracy is dead on.

I do like my Assiomaa's but my brain is saying you cant just buy the same again for both bikes, if i spend money i. should loose weight or somethign for being so lazy!
Heh, I happen to know a brain that is very good at arguments like this, even if this particular one hasn't been on the menu yet ;)

Perhaps you can appease it with tangible benefits such as spare parts commonality, or that having a larger pool of charging adapters at hand is super convenient? Less maintenance apps on the smartphone?

Same experience for me (and around the same length of time) - just using round rings. Has been flawless so far, and battery life is excellent too. Really has been set and forget.

Does anybody have experience with the XCADEY POWER Meter Crankset? 550gr for crankset + powermeter (rings excluded) doesn't sound bad for a 24mm - and lots of arms length choice!

Been using my Magene P505 for a couple of months now. It's as accurate as my Quarq/SRAM D-Four, when compared to my smart trainer.

Anyone else have any updated experiences on the Magene P505 Base? A simple search on it takes you to reddit where some people talk about the crank arms rubbing the front derailleur. Any one have that issue here?

I've been running one for around six months now on an otherwise Shimano 105 12sp Di2 R7170 drivetrain (including chainrings).

The crank arms come very close to the front derailleur when in the big chainring/smallest cog (probably 1mm or less of clearance), but there's no marking to suggest that it's actually rubbing.

I like my SRM PM9 with the 24 mm Ti spindle. Allowed me to shave quite a few grams. Works well.

Yeah, that's what the reddit thread said. I'm wondering if the difference is literally in how much power one can put into the arm in terms of flex. I imagine, the most powerful riders can flex that 1mm at times? Perhaps adjusting the limits a bit can help. Thanks for your thoughts.

Mine is also close but i've adjusted the limit inboard enough that it cant make contact under flex, shifting is still fine. The power meter also works great and the rings shift well enough
